Learning at Hamlin is purposeful, joyful, and expansive. Hamlin girls learn inside the classrooms of our urban campus and outside in the greater Bay Area: in national parks, museums, and online. Our goal is to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. During our 10-week programs, the girls train for the Girls on the Run 5K run/walk while learning life skills such as healthy decision-making and teamwork. Running is used to inspire and motivate girls, encourage lifelong health and fitness, and build confidence through accomplishment. At each season's conclusion, the girls and their running buddies complete a 5K running event.
