ALLIANCE FOR GIRLS
YOUTH Fellowship Program
The AFG Youth Fellowship Program aims to usher in the next generation of girl champion leaders by providing work experience and training for girls and gender-expansive youth between the ages of 16-24 years old. Fellows actively participate in organizational programming, developing their skills in program planning and coordination, public speaking, meeting facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, and other professional development opportunities.
Their youth perspective is crucial to our work. Fellows play a key role in the design and implementation of AFG services and programming.
For more information about the Alliance for Girls Youth Fellowship Program, please contact info@alliance4girls.org.
This is a paid position.
AFG Fellow Viviana joined with other young moms at the When Young Moms Thrive 2021 celebration event.
“During my time at AFG, I have led discussions and meetings, drafted policy recommendations, and maintained relations with member organizations and county officials while simultaneously advocating for my community.
Because of AFG, I am confident in the work that I put forward and know that my voice matters.”
-Vivian, AFG Fellow
